Endless Night

when I look in your eyes I see a shining light
when you look in my eyes its an endless night
the pain I suffer is more then I can bare
never had the goodness to compare
a soft touch and a gentle kiss
is something I have always missed
strangling in this dark abyss
forever until judgement day
when all my pain is taken away
but until then I walk alone
with this burden only I know
you can see this fake smile
but underneath a lonely child
is searching deep.
